Event Type

As part of every child’s development, Gender Identity is the internal sense we all develop of who we are. Forming from an interaction of biological traits, developmental influences and environmental conditions, Gender Identity can be male or female, but it can also fall somewhere in between as a combination of both, some or neither. In this class, Bloom Therapist Lauren Block introduces the topic of Gender Identity Diversity in children including how Gender Identity develops in stages and how to best support our kids when they begin to express their gender as Gender Diverse.
