First Aid for Opioid Overdose

Description

Designed for young adults and adults 13+ up, this course provides students the knowledge and confidence needed to respond to a suspected opioid overdose emergency. Students will learn to identify the signs and symptoms of a suspected opioid overdose and the appropriate care to provide based on the responsiveness of the person. The course includes information on how to use several naloxone products including a nasal atomizer, Narcan, and EVZIO to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
