Description

We are constantly taking in sensory information all around us. Our brains use this information for many things, including moving our body, understanding the space around us, paying attention, and learning. Some kids and adults have a high need for sensory input, or are more sensitive to certain sights, sounds, and touch. This can show up as challenging behavior and can make it difficult for them to participate in daily tasks at home and school. This presentation is great for parents and caregivers of the wiggle worms and the sensitive souls. Join us to learn more about these systems, how to spot potential difficulty, and tools to help your child succeed!
