Description
As new parents, we are often worried about our baby’s development and tend to compare our child to others. Is our baby most advanced in their skills? When will they finally reach that new milestone? Are they on time and what activities are best to promote their development? This presentation will review the timeline of the gross motor, fine motor and communication skills expected within the first year. A pediatric physical therapist will discuss activities that promote development vs activities that tend to contribute to developmental delays. Although this presentation is not meant to diagnose or treat any conditions, the speaker is happy to answer any questions you may have about developmental milestones within the first year!
