Maybe they’ll learn a bit in school, but they might not have the time or reach the comfort level required to ask the questions they really want to ask. Turning Teen gives boys answers in a safe, friendly environment. What they’ll learn: Introduction to your body and it’s parts, how boys and girls are different, what puberty does to our bodies and brains, rules about respect for your body and others’ bodies, introduction to emotions specific to the changes pre-teens experience in puberty.

Dr. Carrie Leff, founder of Turning Teen, practices internal medicine and pediatrics in Michigan. Her passion led her to Turning Teen, where she enjoys helping kids and parents navigate the perils and pitfalls of puberty, and allowed her to co-author a book on puberty, “Celebrate Your Body 2.” As the mother of 3 daughters, Dr. Carrie truly understands the pressures that both teens and their parents face during adolescence.Read More
